Michael Kempinski
Expert in precious metals & sustainable investing
Michael Kempinski is a seasoned financial expert with over 25 years of international experience in precious metals trading and the banking sector. His career began in 1994 as a precious metals trader at Dresdner Kleinwort Benson in Frankfurt. From 2000 to 2010, he worked at Commerzbank Luxembourg (most recently as Vice President), before taking on leadership roles in Singapore with major financial institutions — including as Regional Head of Precious Metals Asia at Commerzbank, Executive Director at UBS, Director at Deutsche Bank, and Managing Director at Degussa Precious Metals Asia.
After returning to Germany, he led the Degussa branch in Nuremberg from 2020 to 2023 and later served as Chief Trader at Philoro Germany. Since 2023, he has been the CEO of GetGreenGold, using his extensive expertise and passion for sustainability to help reduce the ecological and social impact of gold mining.
